Causes of Pleural Mesothelioma

Exposure to asbestos is known only as the cause of pleural mesothelioma. Asbestos is a natural mineral and microscopic have been used for hundreds of years in a variety of different industrial compounds. Although asbestos fibers are very durable/durable, but also very difficult to be removed from the body, though only once after being introduced to the internal network.

Once inhaled, asbestos fibers will submit on the inner layer and an outer layer of the pleura of lung tissue, a thin membrane of mesothelial cells that line the chest cavity. This layer allows to make free movement of internal body structure because it provides a special lubricant to the surface of the structure. Pleural mesothelial membranes, like the other smooth and structured microscopic asbestos fibers can also cause pleural plaques from forming on the surface.

Pleural plaque may eventually be developed into tumor cells of pleural mesothelioma. In General, it takes years and years between asbestos exposure and the development of adverse health complications, such as fiber that is slowly going to irritate and inflame the internal network from time to time until symptoms appear.

Many of those who have been exposed to asbestos exposure has managed to receive compensation from the manufacturers of asbestos products for injuries on him and diseases such as pleural mesothelioma.
