Malignant mesothelioma is a rare form of cancer that affects the lining of
the thin cell walls of internal organs of the body. The layer is known as the
mesothelium. There are three varieties of malignant mesothelioma: malignant
mesothelioma malignant mesothelioma pleural, pericardial, and peritoneal
malignant mesothelioma.
Pericardial mesothelioma occurs on the lining of the heart, known as pericardium.
Pleural mesothelioma occurs in the pleura, the lining of the lungs. Peritoneal
mesothelioma peritoneal, occurs in the abdominal cavity in the wall.
The cause of malignant mesothelioma
Mesothelioma known only caused by exposure to asbestos. Asbestos is a
natural mineral that is poisonous, which often are used in many industries. The
microscopic asbestos fibers get into the body through the lungs or
ingested/inhaled. Once in the human body, because of the nature of asbestos
fibers are durable/durable, then there can be broken down or excreted, causing
dangerous inflammation and scarring mesothelium. Scar tissue is laid the
groundwork for malignant mesothelioma and other respiratory conditions, such as
asbestosis.
There are so many of the latency associated with the onset of exposure to
asbestos and the early emergence of mesothelioma. Patients often do not present
symptoms of mesothelioma up to 30-50 years later, after they were exposed to
asbestos. In many cases mesothelioma had occurred, those who are diagnosed to
have suffered mesothelioma are rather than those exposed to asbestos exposure
settings directly in the jobsite. As a result, the couple and their children
who are exposed to asbestos that are often entered into contact with asbestos
fibers that are attached to the clothing of people who have been exposed to
asbestos exposure were also developing malignant mesothelioma.
